U Japanu će Shihani Rostohar i Gašparović učiti i vježbati s Hatsumi Soke-om, te s ostalim Japanskim Shihanima: Shihanom Noguchiem, Shihanom Nagatom, Shihanom Someyom, Shihanom Shiraishiem i Shihanom Nagaseom. Shihan Dean Rostohar će također sa Hatsumi Soke-om razgovarati o različitim temama i o problematici u Bujinkanu.

Soke Hatsumi je jako ponosan na svog učenika Shihana Deana Rostohara, na njegovo znanje i vještinu, trud i rad, kao i na Bujinkan u Hrvatskoj.

The topic of this seminar were the levels and the techniques of  Koto Ryu Koppojutsu, Ken Jutsu and Gensoku no Ninpo.

During two days, the seminar was attended by thirty participants, coming from Austria, Croatia and  France.

This was the second seminar held in Izernore by Shihan Rostohar, after an invitation from the organizers. During the two days, more than fifty participants, coming from all over France, attended the seminar.Following the organizer’s request, the seminar topics were the techniques according to Densho of Ten Ryaku no Maki (the principles of heavens) and Chi Ryaku no Maki (the principles of earth). These two Denshos, followed by the next level of Jin Ryaku no Maki (the principles of human being) form the basics of Bujinkan Ninpo Budo Taijutsu teachings.

Ten Ryaku no Maki comprises the techniques of Ukemi Gata Taihenjutsu, Shoshin Gogyo no Kata, Kihon Happo (Koshi Kihon Sanpo and Hoshu Kihon Goho no Kata), Kamae no kata, Taihenjutsu Muto dori kata and Hoken Juroppo.

Chi Ryaku no Maki comprises the techniques of Hajutsu Kyu Ho, Torite Kihon Dori no kata, Happo Keri henka no koto, Gyaku Waza, Nage Waza and Shime Waza go gata.

At the seminar, Shihan Rostohar was teaching according to the original Densho of  Ten Chi Jin Ryaku no Maki Densho, given to him by Soke Hatsumi, in Japan, many years ago.

At the first day of the seminar, Ten ryaku no Maki was taught. Shihan Rostohar began the seminar with Sanshin no kata. First, he taught the Sanshin no kata by teaching the basics of Taijutsu through it. Then he taught the Sanshin no kata in two manners – Biken Jutsu & Iai nuki, through the techniques with the sword. Afterwards, he continued with the techniques and the principles through Kihon Happo. Shihan Rostohar taught Kihon Happo through the basic techniques and principles, but also on the higher level, through the Kumi Uchi. He also demonstrated each of these techniques through the sword fighting. In order to enable the participants to understand the techniques properly, Shihan Rostohar  taught each technique through Isshi Shoden ( Kuden, Taiden, Shinden; ‘manner of total transmission’). Each technique was shown in details, through Gensoku (principles), Tetsugaku (philosophy) and Shinri gaku (psychology).

After the seminar, Shihan Rostohar held a special training session for those with Judansha level. At the training, he also taught Kuden and the basic techniques and principles of Iai jutsu, in order to enable the participants understand and learn the use of Japanese sword. Thus, the techniques of Tennouchi, Iai nuki, Chiburi, Noto, Tai sabaki and other were shown and demonstrated.

At the second day of the seminar, Chi Ryaku no Maki was taught. Shihan Rostohar  thoroughly showed and explained each of the techniques, always pointing out the essence of the particular technique. Afterwards, the Henka (varations) were done in order to improve the participants’ understanding of the techniques. Shihan Rostohar demonstrated each technique also through the use of weapons, e.g. the sword, the knife, and other weapons.

Through the whole seminar Shihan Rostohar was teaching the principles of Gan Shin Shinzo, through Kuden, Gakumon and Gokui. Tameshi kiri was also demonstrated at the seminar.

Seminar passed in the atmosphere of learning, practicing and hard work, but also with a lot of fun and laugther. All the participants were delighted with the teaching and demonstrations, with the knowledge gained, and with the whole seminar. All the participants were eager to listen and learn, showing the great discipline and lot of efforts.
